I was in my US His. class and my teacher was talking about our project (to talk to an old person about thier life) and not to be offended if they use racest terms, because thats how it was back then. that got me thinking about my family. If my grandparents are racest, and my parents are homophobes. what will i be? and do i have to be anything or will my upbringing make me hate a group of ppl becuase of who they are or the color of thier skin or w/e? or will stick to my belifs and not follow the patteren of my family?
